NPS and Covid-19 policy

North Pole Studio is happy to welcome you for the coming period starting August 17th!

We have plenty of classes for all the tastes, and if you are not sure what is the one the suits you the best, don’t hesitate to contact us! Meanwhile, try our little quiz-game!  🙂

If you are a newbie, you can also start here!

Let’s start with some important announcements!

Covid-19 is not eradicated in Stockholm as anywhere in the world, BUT we would like to keep doing what we like the best, Pole dance!

For this reason, at North Pole Studio we are trying our best to make the environment as safe and pleasant as possible so you can keep training with us 🙂 And we follow the development of the pandemeic and keep us updated with the policy from FolkhĂ€lsomyndigheten/Public Health Agency of Sweden.

To keep the distances as recommended by the authorities, we strictly enforce the policy ”1 person = 1 pole”, and most of our poles have more than 1 m distance among them, so you have space to roll and dance around it.

For the same reason, we are keeping under control the number of people accessing the common areas.

What can you do to help us?

  • To avoid overcrowding the reception (that will force us to ask you to wait outside, unfortunately), we ask you to be on time for your class but not too early and to contact us before dropping-in, so we can tell you if you can take the class you aim to 🙂
  • If you can, come with workout clothes already on, so that fewer people need to access the changing room.

We have improved our cleaning routine, disinfecting handles, and poles multiple times per day.

What can you do to help us?

  • Take extra care to clean the pole before you jump on it.
  • Bring your own mat, water bottle, and pole towel. In case you forgot you can still borrow it from us 🙂

We have available hand sanitizer with at least 60 % alcohol in the reception area and in the changing room for you to use.

What can you do to help us?

  • Use the hand sanitizer upon arrival in the studio.
  • Carefully wash your hands before and after the class with soap for at least 20 seconds. It is essential to limit the spread! If you are not sure, wash your hands!

We know that pole dance is funnier with a pal, but at the moment, we avoid all those exercises (yes, including the abs exercises that you hate/love!) that require working in close contact with someone else.

We are very interested in your safety, and our staff will keep helping and spot you whenever is essential, but please remember that you can help yourself with crash mats and soft mats when you need it 🙂

We want to remind you that you are welcome to join us only if you feel well. If something is not ok with you, we invite you to stay home.

If you have tested positive for Covid-19, you should stay at home for at least seven days after falling ill, including two days with no fever, as prescribed by the Public Health Agency. If you are mildly sick, we kindly ask you to stay home unless you have been symptom-free for at least two days and clearly feel well, as prescribed by the Public Health Agency.

Our staff is allowed to ask you to leave if you look sick.

Don’t be afraid to skip one class because you are not well. You can re-do the class the moment you feel better.

If you rather have limited physical contact with other students, at North Pole Studio you can book privates and on-line classes 🙂

You can contact us at info@poledance.se or book a private here.
